Just 13 miles by road is the pretty coastal town of Bude as well as many other beaches and coves dotted along the cliffs. The Tamar Lakes Clovelly RHS Rosemoor The Milky Way Adventure Park and The Big Sheep are all within easy reach and a great answer to what to do on a rainy Devon afternoon.

Slightly further afield but still within an hour s drive is the market town of Barnstaple Dartmoor National Park historic Tintagel and Bodmin Moor making this property the perfect base to explore some of the highlights of both Devon and Cornwall. This barn conversion which is full of character and still retains its exposed beams offers one double bedroom and one twin. The family bathroom has a shower over bath and WC and lounge/diner is a large comfortable area with a woodburner (first basket of logs free) a radio/CD player flatscreen TV DVD and recording HD box.

If you would rather stay in to cook than venture out for food the well equipped kitchen has an oven and hob a washer/dryer dishwasher fridge/freezer and microwave. Outside is a private enclosed garden which has the sun all day and guests are invited to visit the tame sheep chickens and ducks by arrangement with the owner. Dogs can be exericsed in one of the designated fields onsite and there is a shared seating area overlooking a pond which guests can enjoy.

Ample off-road parking is available. 2 well behaved dogs are welcome at the property and more by arrangement. Please note that dogs are expected to be kept on a lead unless in the enclosed garden or the exercise field due to the resident animals.
