Charming cottage. Very welcoming owners.
We have just spent a most enjoyable week at The Granary. It is a charming, very well-appointed cottage with everything provided that could possibly be needed for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean and the owners were most welcoming. They could not do enough to make us feel at home. We also had breakfast twice in the main house, which was very tasty and enjoyable. Our dogs were made to feel very much at home and were even greeted with biscuits! The bed was extremely comfortable and the cottage very warm. The surrounding area is very beautiful, especially with the autumn colours. There were some good pubs within the vicinity and the highlight of our week was possibly the visit to the International Centre for Birds of Prey at Newent. We very much look forward to returning to this relaxing and cosy little cottage.

A great location to explore the Forest of Dean. The accommodation was perfect for our week away.

Our holiday at The Granary was fabulous. The owners were so welcoming but not intrusive and the cottage was so lovely and was so well equipped. The d?cor was lovely and quaint but modern and spotlessly clean. Our two dogs made themselves at home in the garden which had lots of seating areas. I would definitely recommend this cottage to family and friends, many thanks.

The location was great for both the forest and the river. There was a lovely babbling brook running along the back of the property and a super garden to sit out in the sunshine. There was a good local store with lots of good provisions close by and the local Fish and Chip shop served good food too. The owners were delightful super people. Would definitely return to The Granary.

Wonderful welcoming hosts and a lovely, comfortable cottage in a beautiful area of the country. This was my third stay in the cottage and I shall be booking it again!
