Cottage with view of the castle and sea
We stayed in the Gwynfryn Cottage owned by the Gwynfryn B&B owners. We found it as pictured and it was nice to have comfy chairs. Best part is the terrace which is on the second floor with the bedrooms. Sitting out there you can see the castle, castle walls and see. It is right next to one of the gates to the castle wall walk. It is uphill all the way from the station which is what gives you lovely views. I would hate to drive a car there and have to park but as we came by train, it wasn't an issue. The main bedroom has a double bed. The 2nd has a bunk bed and is very small. You also go through the second bedroom to get to the terrace. It is good for a family or for two people perhaps not so good for two couples.

Everything had a relaxed feeling and a real countryside feeling, with the chickens, horses and the sheep. The wood burner gave the cottage a nice homely feel and it was more or less central to everywhere. Having two children with us we maybe thought that the evenings would be a little boring for them but it was quite the opposite; the host was fantastic with them, feeding the chickens, gathering eggs, and feeding the cats and the horses. This was new to the girls and they loved every moment doing it.

The Cottage was cosy and well equipped and well placed for exploring Pembrokeshire. We would definitely recommend this holiday home especially for dog owners who wish to take their pet. We had a wonderful week there.
