This charming, ground floor whitewashed cottage is less than 4 miles from Aberdaron in North Wales, with two bedrooms accommodating four people.

Porth Awyr is a wonderful, single-storey whitewashed stone cottage, situated amongst beautiful countryside near Aberdaron in North Wales, on the Llyn Peninsula. The cottage has two bedrooms which can accommodate four people, including a double room, a single room with an additional pull-out single bed and a family bathroom. There is a kitchen with a dining area, a sitting room with an open fire and comfy leather sofas, plus a conservatory where you can bask in the morning sunshine with a cup of tea and plan the day ahead.

Outside, the garden enjoys beautiful countryside views to the rear and ample off road parking. With North Wales' stunning coastline easy to reach, as well as the Snowdonia National Park and the Isle of Anglesey, Porth Awyr is a wonderful base for couples and small families, all year round.

No heating or TV when we arrived on the Friday afternoon. Heating was "fixed" TV wasn't. No heating again on Saturday. TV was fixed Saturday morning and heating eventually fixed early Saturday afternoon. These interruptions ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend to celebrate my Wife's Birthday. Complained to Sykes (who I booked the holiday through - who I paid and who issued the receipt!). No reply so they are obviously "hiding" behind their T's and C's whereby the "contract" is with the owner (who Sykes will not give an address for so that I can take t up directly). I will never book another holiday through Sykes as, in my opinion, their Customer Service is non-existent! BEWARE!!

This is a lovely cottage. It was a really nice base to come back to and relax in. It was very child friendly and comfortable.
