Our stay
It was wonderful from start to finish all the little touches you did was excellent and having a tour of your farm was wonderful especially meeting meg and droopsy and hope to see you soon!!

Second visit to this cottage, again not disappointed. The cottage is well equipped for a weeks holiday, also a welcome pack when you arrive tea, coffee milk etc. The cottage is on a working sheep farm with stunning views all around, away from the madding crowd but still only 15 mins drive from shops etc. The wood burner is great for cosy nights on the sofa. The road up to the farm is a bit bumpy,if there's snow recommend 4wheel drive or snow chains(which Nev provides ) if you haven't got any,or if the weather turns for the worse while your there, which sometimes it does. Don't let that put you off though,Nev or Kate will be on hand to get you to and from the cottage if weathers bad. The owners Kate and Nev greet you with a warm welcome, they are also on hand if you need anything. They sell their own lamb off the farm,I do suggest folks try it,it is beautiful lamb, and the lamb and mint sausage is that nice I brought the lot. We will be returning again this year. All in all this cottage is absolutely fantastic,a home from home. 10/10......HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COTTAGE....

Spent a week in Highfields barn, absolutely fantastic place,a home from home, stunning barn as well as the views...the owners(Kate and Nev) are really great friendly people, always on hand to help or just for a chat, even though they are busy on their farm... The barn is well equipped with everything you will need weather it's a weekend away or a week. Even though the barn is set in the middle of nowhere(lovely) shops, pub etc are not far away....we didn't want to come home,we will definitely be going back.

Lovely relaxing place
The barn is beautifully finished and well equipped. Nev and Kate made us very welcome . If you want peace and quiet and wonderful views this is for you. Highly recommend.

On top of the world.
What a fantastic find. Kate and Nev made us feel so welcome in their 17th century converted barn. Views from the barn and surrounding areas were stunning in all directions. We enjoyed a relaxing and cosy Easter break and even witnessed the birth of a lamb at the farm. What a special moment that was. Plenty of good pubs around serving lovely meals. Will definitely be back.
