Family getaway celebration
Spent a week at Riverdale with our adult family to celebrate a couple of milestones. The house (adjacent to the owner's house) has a lovely setting on the river and is comfortably furnished with absolutely every conceivable item you could require (if anything it was probably over furnished) right down to a gas bbq! It's located in the suburb of Monksmoor, about 20-25 minutes walk to the restaurants and bars alongside the welsh Bridge in the centre of Shrewsbury. It's also convenient for quick road access to Ironbridge gorge & Much Wenlock. Currently much of Shrewsbury is still closed but we'd have no hesitation re-booking Riverdale if we were back in the area

Perfect relaxing break
We've just had a fabulous stay at Riverdale. In the current climate when we are all being very cautious we were delighted to find this property spotlessly clean with plentiful supply of hand-sanitisers and wipes for our own personal use. It made us all feel very safe. The property itself is very comfortable, really well equipped and decorated with beautiful, quality furnishings. The view from the balcony over the river Severn is stunning with a variety of wildlife. We were very excited to see kingfishers! There was a generous welcome pack when we arrived - lovely touch. All in all it was a perfect getaway and we will definitely be booking up again. Thanks for a great weekend!

Tranquil
Lovely cottage on the bank of the River Severn but just a 30min walk from the town centre. Lovely owner who leaves a small welcome box & iced water. Clean & tidy with plenty of space & equipment.

What a gem of a place!!
The location is perfect mix for having tranquillity from the town centre, but in easy walking distance to all the benefits of being in the town. Initial perception of the property does not give any indication to the wonderful amenities of the inside or to the outside of the property at the back of the house. The gardens are superb -idyllic for a summers evening by the river. Inside you have every possible consideration being made to have a perfect break away. The property is high specification, and most enjoyable. There were unexpected surprises on arrival which were gratefully received, which added to our wonderful break away. We will definitely return next year for our annual gathering of friends. Thank you!
