Comfortable stay in great location
Me and some friends stayed here a few weeks ago and it was a lovely modern and spacious flat, right next to the Keswick high street. The beds are amazingly comfortable, it was difficult to drag ourselves out to climb Catbells! The flat had it's own private parking space too which was ideal. Would definitely recommend it.

Really nice modern apartment
Right in the centre of Keswick and less than a minute walk to the high street. Really nice modern & cosy feel about the inside and so spacious too! Had a lovely weekend away there, and the beds are very comfortable! Well equipped as well and a great bath/shower. There's a private parking bay as well which is key in the centre! Highly recommend!

Below Par
We are very much in agreement with the previous review for this place. Both entrances are disgusting and our hearts sank when we arrived at the apartment. The rear entrance was dirty and smelly and the front entrance looked like student digs! We read the reviews in the visitors book and all the guests where saying the same thing, yet years down the line it's still exactly the same. The apartment itself is ok, areas are in need of improvement. The settee is all scratched and ripped, marks all over the wood laminate floor, same rusty pole in the bathroom ( as previous guest mentioned) quite a few light bulbs not working, door handle missing from utility cupboard. The overall finish to this place is poor and to charge what you are charging is not right. We have stayed in far better accommodation for less. Yes it's central but it's needs a lot of work doing to bring it up the the level of other lets in the same area. We wouldn?t stay again.

Very disappointing and not 4 star standard
As a regular visitor to Keswick over the past 20 years I can honestly say I have never stayed in such a shabby, dirty and depressing apartment. Both front and rear entrances are appalling with rubbish bins overflowing all over the car park, a rusty fire escape to the rear and an uninviting dark dirty staircase to the front which could be mistaken for a squat. On reading the visitors book it was apparent that this has been an issue since 2011 that the owners /agent has been frequently made aware of however it has not been addressed. The lack of kerb appeal could be forgiven if basic cleanliness and maintainenance was kept on top of. The bathroom has a rusty shower rail, excessive mould around windows/bath and the shower curtain was very stained.carpets and rugs were dirty and beds had hairs in them. We were requested to strip beds before departure and discovered mattress was badly stained. These are basic things that I would not expect to find at a 4 star property charging 4 star prices.

Home from home
We have just returned home from Keswick and have to say the cottage was excellent, it had everything you needed and more. As soon as we opened the door to the apartment we knew he had made the best decision in booking it, so cozy, relaxing and wish we could have stayed for longer. We didn't experience any noise as the restaurant downstairs has closed down. Lovely little parking spot right outside so it was easy to load the car up. One of the best things was the bed, it was so comfortable and I wanted to bring it home! so comfortable we didn't want to get out of it. The only think I would say is we took our dog as it was dog friendly, I wouldn't return with our dog as it was a lot of messing around when she needed the toilet, you couldn't just open the door and let her out we had to go 5 mins down the road to the grass which I know isn't long at all but when it's just before bed and first thing on a morning it was a bit of a pain. We would definitely return but not with the dog.
