RECENT CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Ideal quite location, despite being between both Ambleside & Windermere.
Set off the main road down a shared lane-cum-driveway the cottage is part of a cluster of similar characterful holiday accommodation on the property. The lounge has a double aspect so nice and light. It was always quiet, and the overnight heating meant it was always comfortable. Parking is right outside the front door and as it's all on one level very convenient for luggage. Well-equipped kitchen, some DVDs were supplied, heated towel rails (luxury!). Clean and tidy, nice decor and comfy bed. Holiday home away from home. The welcome bottle of both beer and wine was much appreciated on a very hot August day. The Pubs in Troutbeck are well worth visiting both for their food and beer gardens with great views. All in all a handy base to explore the Lake District which was absolutely stunning.
