This detached house rests in Trearddur Bay, Wales and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms.
Resting in the pretty seaside village of Trearddur Bay is this four-bedroom holiday home, Bryngwyn, perfect for a big family get together in this idyllic location. Being located at the heart of North Wales' Holy Island off the Isle of Anglesey means guests at Bryngwyn can delight in stunning beaches, rugged coastlines and amazing views, within reach of plenty of attractions on the main island too. Be welcomed into the homely living room/diner after a busy day of exploring and choose to relax on the plush seating while the woodburning stove warms you, or set up a board game from home at the dining table while your evening meal cooks.
A large range cooker is at your fingertips in the kitchen, along with a host of excellent appliances to assist you in your culinary endeavors, not to mention the convenience of a washing machine, tumble dryer and a dishwasher too! Dine in the living room/diner or head to the beautiful conservatory dining table to tuck into your home-cooked feast, afterwards relaxing in here or taking the conversation into the formal sitting room, with more seating to snuggle up on and a TV to put on a family favourite. Take a relaxing dip in the bubbling hot tub outside enjoying the last of the evening light, with furniture on the decking to sit out on with refreshing drinks, and a large garden with lawned areas, pretty shrubs and flower beds, and even a vegetable patch, great for a sunny summer afternoon with your family. The charming village of Trearddur Bay is a perfect spot for a holiday, thanks to the several amenities including pubs and shops, along with the two gorgeous beaches to enjoy; Porth Dafarch and Trearddur's main beach.
The main beach is popular all-year-round for walking, but especially in summer thanks to the beautiful shores which are ideal for watersports, discover a host of activities with something to suit everyone, from surfing to water-skiing, and even scuba-diving, or simply relaxing on the pristine sands. There's plenty of excellent fishing spots on the beach too, and children will love the play area just above the beach, while adults can delight in heading into Beach Hotel to the snooker hall here to relax with a drink while enjoying a game. Head out on a family excursion of horse riding with local riding stables to see the pretty countryside around the bay, admiring the coastal scenery all the while.
Travel south to explore Rhoscolyn, finding St Gwenfaen's Church and Well, before following the coastline and reaching Traeth Borth Wen, staying to catch the sunset here. Visit the imposing Holyhead Mountain, which despite it's small structure actually involves some climbing and scrambling, and visit the Holyhead Roman walls too while you're there. Catch a ferry from Holyhead over to Ireland for the day for an exciting adventure, before coming back to the comfort of Bryngwyn.
Enjoy spending time with your loved ones at Bryngwyn in Trearddur Bay.

Great house, poor management company.
We stayed as a family from 10th-17th September. The house itself is beautiful, with a mature and extensive back garden. Ideal for our two granddaughters and two dogs to play in. The website states the garden is enclosed, which it is apart from the gate, our small dog would have been able to get underneath it so had to be supervised at all times.
Pros-
Beautifully decorated
Enough space for the whole family inside and out
Comfortable seating (the grey sofa is wonderful!)
Well equipped kitchen
Comfortable beds
Great location for the beach and all amenities
Plenty of off-road parking
Good water pressure for showers
Great decking area which is beautifully lit up at night
Seating area under pergola is lovely to catch the afternoon sun
The tree swing went down great with our granddaughters
Cons-
Hot tub was dirty when we arrived and continued to pump out sand once we had complained and someone had come to clean it quickly. Hot tub was also very old and would not stay on for more than 10 minutes, it would then take 20 minutes to come back on with the jets, just felt like we were sat in a bath. No chemical treatment to clean hot tub was carried out during our week. I personally used the hot tub once during my whole stay.
TV in bedroom did not work, for the price we have paid I would expect a Sky package or something similar, there was only Freeview available in the lounge and a small selection of DVD's.
As mentioned earlier garden gate needs to be more secure for smaller children and dogs, I would suggest a second gate for added security or a solid gate in place of the current one.
On our second day, we lost power to the lights on one side of the house which included the kitchen, this then proceeded to bring workmen into the house for two days, ironic really as we had booked this break to get away from the building work at home. Before Menai would send workmen out, they had asked us to stand on a chair to reach the fuse box in the kitchen. I was not willing to do this, my daughter reluctantly did, and the fuse just kept blowing.
Once the workmen arrived, carpets were ripped up and the dust was immense. I requested a cleaner and Menai did arrange to send one who was efficient. We are still waiting for Emily from Menai to call us back to arrange a late checkout or some form of compensation for the two-day disruption to our week break. I appreciate that these things can happen, but I feel that Menai customer service was poor.
Top shelf on dishwasher was broken, cooker hood did not work.
Only one towel provided for each person, so it was a good job we had taken extra for hot tub.
More thorough cleaning needed throughout whole property, socks left in drawer from previous guests, dog mess in garden, dust under bed and furniture.
Only one wine glass, no pyrex dish, the lid was there so clearly had been broken and not replaced, I guess this is also the story with the wine glasses.
Message to the owners-
Bryngwyn is a beautiful house, but could be managed so much better, I would be reluctant to book with Menai again for reasons stated.
