The Black Bull is a historic coaching inn nestled in the picturesque village of Godmanchester. The Black Bull elegantly blends the old with the new. Dating back 400 years the Black Bull has a wonderful history that reads almost as a novel.

Once serving as a hospital for Belgian refugees during WWI it has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment as it has become part of the reputable Illustrious Pub Company. The restaurant seats up to 60 people and has a great classic British menu that is all home cooked to high standards by an experienced brigade of chefs.It has a character bar with WIFI that is popular with locals and respected by CAMRA for having three well maintained ales. You will always find Theakstons Black Bull Ale on and two other ales that have been hand picked by the Manager Claire.

The pub also benefits from having an independent function room with private bar and meeting room with Wifi. The 'Bull Room' as it has come to be known can seat up to 70 people for a sit down meal or up 100 people for a cocktail party. The bed rooms which have also be refurbished are to a high standard with brand new bathrooms beds WIFI and flat screen televisions.

Included in the room rate you will find a selection of teas and coffees and a self serve continental style breakfast. Close to the market town of Huntingdon and with great transport links to London and other cities Godmanchester is an ideal place to break of a long trip or just as nice as a destination for a getaway.
