Castle Eaton church, dedication board
In the bell tower is this lovely painted dedication board, dated to 1827. These boards commemorate the gift of money, often a yearly stipend to the church or to the poor. In this example a native of Fairford, Gloucestershire, has donated ?100 for a yearly gift for the poor of the parish.
