The Windmill Bed and Breakfast has a variety of nine rooms around our courtyard and two flats within the windmill itself and is located in a quiet cul-de-sac a 5 minute walk from the town centre.
The Windmill is a Grade II listed building and the last remaining Windmill in Scarborough. Restored and renovated over a number of years, The Windmill has nine ensuite rooms - ranging from standard twin/double, family rooms, premier four posters and one deluxe four poster room - based around the courtyard. We also have two lovely flats in The Windmill itself where you can stay on a bed and breakfast or self-catering basis.
There is parking in the courtyard and also in Mill Street via a permit which we provide free of charge. A hearty breakfast is taken in the dining room on the ground floor of The Windmill, where you can select from vegetarian options, full English or oak smoked kippers from Whitby. Whilst enjoying breakfast, you will also be able to view our collection of toys from the 1960s onwards.
Located at the end of a quiet cul de sac a 5 minute walk from the town centre, the station, the Stephen Joseph Theatre and numerous restaurants, it is an ideal place to stay and explore the coast and surrounding areas. Our aim is to provide our guests with a special and unusual place to stay whilst enjoying all that Scarborough has to offer from the theatre to the coast. Our rates include breakfast, unless you stay in the flats on a self-catering basis and are inclusive of VAT.
We are a non-smoking establishment throughout and regrettably do not accept pets.
