Ludlow Castle is a wonderful medieval fortress overlooking the River Teme. The castle dates to the late 12th century and was erected by Roger de Montgomery, Earl of Shrewsbury. The Princes in the Tower were kept here before going on to their [presumed] deaths at the Tower of London.
