The Story Behind the Image - Linn of Tummel
The Linn of Tummel is a picturesque series of waterfalls at the confluence of the River Tummel with the River Garry outside Pitlochry, Perthshire.
This pretty countryside area is owned by the National Trust for Scotland and can be reached via a footpath from the neighbouring Trust property of Killiecrankie.
What you don't see in this photo is that it was raining steadily and I was thoroughly wet - but thankfully, I was able to keep my camera lens dry!
