Stackpole Court was a palatial Georgian mansion, the home of the Campbell family of Cawdor. The house stood at the centre of a vast 18th-century designed landscape centred on Bosherston Lakes. An exhibition in the old dairy building tells the story of the Court and its destruction. Near the house site is a restored walled garden built around 1770, with heated pits for growing pineapples, melons, and other exotic produce.
