Ludlow is a thriving medieval market town, an architectural gem with a splendid castle, situated on a cliff above the River Teme. The town has an unusually high concentration of top quality restaurants, an impressive variety of specialist food shops, ancient buildings and the celebrated Broad Street is a must. During the year, the town is busy hosting an array of events and festivals.

Wassell Barn is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all, occupying a splendid rural setting with lovely views. Completely refurbished during 2015 to an exceptional eclectic and contemporary style, here is a lovely base, not only for walkers, but also those wanting to explore all of the many interesting towns and villages, as well as historic houses and gardens that Herefordshire and Shropshire have to offer.
