100% will stay again
Just arrived back after staying at Slade Tops for 3 nights and already desperate to stay again. There's no better location for miles, we drove around the local area and we definitely had the best views. The view from the driveway is brilliant. Loads of walking routes right on the doorstep too.
The cottage itself was warm and cosy, very well equipped and brilliant touches such as the lemon drizzle cake made by Julie as a welcome. TV is also very good, very big and has internet connectivity for Netflix etc
Bed was very comfy and kitchen was very well kitted out even with milk and Prosecco already in the fridge. And Julie was very attentive with any questions we had.
Not one complaint at all, will deffo be coming back thank you John and Julie

Warmth, tranquility and dog friendly too!!
Beautifully off the beaten track for those of you wanting peace and quiet!
Lovely, snug cottage that was complete with some great extra unexpected touches....a yummy plate of homemade chocolate brownies plus a bottle of Prosecco nicely chilled in the fridge.....a great welcome!! So welcoming for our dog, Poppy too, with a bed and bowls, that meant she had three beds to choose from....yes she is spoilt!!
There are wonderful walks from here too, so you don't need to leave this snug little cottage if you don't want to, or walk your dog when you've come back from a day out.
Being off the beaten track is a great bonus too if you just want peace and quiet, although it's only a few minutes drive from the nearest shops and pubs.
We had a lovely relaxing break here, nice days out exploring and then lovely cosy evenings in.....what more can you ask for?
