Incredibly Amazing
I can?t start to tell you about this property, it's totally amazing. Yes the photographs are great but nothing to what it actually looks and feels like.walking in is just breathtaking the decor and furniture outstanding not mention the underfloor heating which was an added bonus. We received a wonderful welcome hamper on arrival which was the icing on the cake, it felt that your holiday was about to start straight away. It definitely did. Surrounded by beautiful vies and walks it was everything and more. The patio is private but we think it would be a great idea for a family holiday if we booked the Farmhouse too, so there has been a lot of chat regarding that idea. We wish Sharon and Jim all the success in the world with the Byre as it is beautiful and a massive well done on the transformation but still managing to keep the feeling of warmth and welcoming within.

Outstanding
My partner booked this cottage through Sykes....it's amazing in fact that doesn?t really describe it. We were met with a wonderful hamper on arrival which was an unexpected surprise. Before the pandemic we have been at quite a few self catering cottages, but never have we felt so welcome it was beautiful with lots of hidden surprises. Even to the wet room, I was playing music through my phone suddenly it was coming through the bathroom mirror, brilliant and a total first for me. The decor is in keeping with the Byre, very tastefully and professionally done, as well as the furniture which is of high standard, ever so cosy with the log burner, and the underfloor heating( A definite touch of luxury) ! If your like me and take your own knifes along with other bits and bobs, there's absolutely no need as they have thought of everything. Parking is fantastic and the patio with its plants was just the icing on the cake, the sun did shine for a couple of days and we sat out in it. You could hire a hot tub if you were inclined to do so and it could easily be set up in the patio area as it's totally private and still have a bbq. I think the next time we book will be the summer as we both would love to do this. The only thing we can say is that the photos of the Byre don't do it the justice it deserves. Thank you Sharon & Jim for a fantastic stay in your Byre and the hamper the marmalade was amazing also thanks to Sandy and Kirsty for being on hand and telling us about the butchers it was delicious.
