Lake District Self Catering cottage, Willow Lodge, Troutbeck Bridge, sleeps 6

Great weekend lodge to catch up with friends
We recently stayed at Willow lodge for a weekend with friends. The site is easy to find from the main road, there is a bar and restaurant that we didn?t use. We arrived at 3 to check in which was quite busy but the efficient reception staff handled the queue effectively. I was worried that it would feel overcrowded on site, but as willow lodge is slightly elevated it was quiet all around, there are a couple of parking places outside and a few steps up to the deck. Take care in the wet as the leaves make it a little sloppy! The lodge has a double bedroom with its own onsuite plus a couple of small but adequate twin rooms who share the main bathroom.these rooms had their own TVs and wardrobes. The open plan living kitchen dining space was cozy and warm and perfect for us to relax and eat. The kitchen was well equipped with handy extras like tin foil bags of ice washing tablets and cleaning equipment. The lounge opens up onto the deck which I imagine in summer is idyllic. Overall we all thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would definitely stay again.
