Beautiful house. Exquisite garden. Phenomenal views.
We had the most wonderful stay at Windy Heath. The views from almost every room are breathtaking. The house is spacious and has a homely feel to it. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Comfy beds, plenty of storage. Plenty of options to eat out in the area. We will stay again, Windy Heath.

Disappointing , despite the fabulous views.
Without doubt this house has one of the most amazing views we have seen, however we feel that is what you pay for, as the house doesn't live up to the rental price range. It's dated, has old furniture in places, has no signal/limited wifi, and has locked cupboards throughout, which I assume has the owners items in ? Personnel photos in drawers, as well as DIY items. We felt we were staying with the owner, not renting. The area is secluded, and has small hilly roads to pass to get to the house, not for the fainthearted .We had some cleaning issues, and the key collection procedure needs addressing. Salcombe itself is very small, and overcrowded even in these times of social distancing, but has great vistas.

WONDERFUL
You may need to be fit to walk up and down Moult Hill to get to Windy Heath but we feel it's well worth it. Spacious, clean and well appointed; excellent location, beautiful views and situated in a peaceful, quiet part of Salcombe. Pets welcome too which is an added bonus. We very much look forward to our annual trip to Windy Heath.
