A perfect stay
This cottage is situated within walking distace of shops pubs and an excellent tourist information centre. My wife and I spent an idlylic week in this beautifuly appointed cottage. It was blisfully quiet. The furniture, fixtures and fittings are of the highset quality. The way in which the space has been used is "magic". It seems as if no expence has been spared in providing a top-quality experience. It was a lovely touch that after a day or so, the owners emailed, to make sure we had everyting we needed. We would heartily recommend a stay there, to enjoy the cottage itself as well as the wonderful surroundings. P.S. the property is attached to a house which lets out to parties of 4, by the same owners, This, in no way does this detract from the experience of staying there. It is fitted out with the same degree of care and attention to detail.

A clean, cosy cottage in a good location in Ballater.
I was impressed with how clean and Covid safe the house was presented. It is small, but adequate for two people. The heating is included, but the weather was warm and not needed. It is adequately equipped and the owners contacted to see if we needed any other help. It is near the centre of Ballater and also well located for starting walks. The owners note that Ballater is a small and friendly community and we found this so, with people always wishing you 'good day' as you passed. We had a lovely week there.

Cosy, well appointed self catering cottage in Ballater
We had a very enjoyable one week stay in Gairnlea cottage. It is a cosy, well appointed cottage in a very quiet location. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It is within easy walking distance of the excellent shops and restaurants in Ballater. Tourist information also very friendly and helpful. We loved the Dee valley with many local walks as well as nearby Loch Muick, Linn of Dee and Balmoral. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends
