Amazing!
We stayed here for 7 nights in February. Julie and Chris were the friendliest and most helpful hosts. After our stay here we have have realised a holiday abroad is not always required to relax. It was self catering, the kitchen was equipped with everything needed and it was clear a great deal of thought had gone into the set up and furnishings of the cottage. On arrival there was a hamper including Julie's homemade lemon drizzle cake, jam, tea and coffee and milk. Also prepared and waiting was a tray ready for us to enjoy a cup of tea. Each bedroom had an ensuite and the views of the river from every door/window were magnificent. The beds were huge and so comfortable! There were lots of opportunities to go hiking during the day and in the evenings the fire was very cosy. The hot tub made the cottage extra special. Julie and Chris live very close by and are available if any assistance is required. Thankyou to Julie and Chris for being wonderful hosts. We have had lots of holidays and travelled extensively, this is definitely in the top 3 of places we have stayed. Hopefully we will see you again in the future!
