As soon as you come through the door of Cosy Barn, you will immediately feel at home and welcome. All the rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the living space is open plan and very sociable. Just 10 minutes from picturesque Newborough beach, this holiday cottage is blessed with stunning countryside views, framed by the dramatic Snowdonia mountain range.

Cosy Barn is part of a contemporary development of farm buildings, split into nine houses. The views from all the bedrooms are superb, and the house is very well laid out with attention to detail. With well proportioned rooms, a well chosen mix of old and new and the colours and fabrics all add to the warmth and cosiness.

A wonderful holiday cottage! Spacious open plan living space. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need to make tasty meals for family and friends. Large oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer, dryer, microwave.

Comfortable seating set around the wood burning stove, perfect for chillier evenings. Patio doors open out onto the garden. If you can tear your gaze from the views, there is also a TV.

Just off the main sitting space is another seating space, which is a little more private if you'd like to escape and read a book for a little while. Two bedrooms - master ensuite double bedroom with king size bed and a great view. Twin bedroom.

The main bathroom has a roll top bath, loo and wash hand basin. The lovely garden is completely enclosed and south-facing with lawned and patio areas with garden furniture, perfect for planning your day with a morning coffee or reviewing an enjoyble day with a relaxing glass of wine. An easy drive will take you to the fabulous Newborough Forest, a stronghold of the red squirrel and the lovely sandy beach beyond the forest is lovely.

From the beach you can visit romantic Llanddwyn island with it's sheltered coves, ruined church, old lighthouse and pilot's cottages. There is a lot to see and do in this southern corner of Anglesey, with a wealth of wildlife and bird watching opportunities, family attractions and water sports galore.

The Little Things make all the difference!!!
We visited in October and overall the cottage is just as it appears in the photos. It's up a track so took a little finding but the lady in the local post office gives great directions. It was the little things that left us disappointed.....no welcome hamper, no loo rolls and no logs for the fire. There were signs of slug activity in the lounge each morning but we didn't see them. Fortunately my dog sleeps in a crate on holiday but if your pet doesn't then these are harmful I'm told. I did feed back to the booking agency at the time but I was just thanked for my feedback

True to it?s name!
Lovely week spent in the cottage - tucked up a quiet lane it's peaceful and has fabulous views from every room over the Menai and mountains. Well equipped kitchen, nicely decorated, comfy beds and all round very cosy. The housekeeper was really friendly and helpful when we had a minor issue - she came quickly and sorted it out. Garden is secure and great for little dogs and children. Recommend this place highly.
