Excellent stay......perfect location!
We stayed at Saxon Lodge beginning of July ......the house was perfectly located, approximately 3 minutes walk from the beach and roughly 10 minutes walk to the town centre. Gill and Nigel, the owners were exceptionally welcoming and provided the best welcome pack we have ever had from a cottage rental. They were happy to recommend places of interest to visit, along with restaurant recommendations too.
The accommodation is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated throughout. The decking area just off the double bedroom was a perfect suntrap and a relaxing area to have breakfast, lunch or enjoy a glass or two of wine!!
Although we were a party of two, we noticed games, puzzles etc provided for families with children. We couldn?t fault our stay at Saxon Lodge and wouldn?t hesitate to stay again. Can highly recommend Saxon Lodge to anyone looking for a high standard of accommodation with perfect hosts.

Great location, 5 mins walk to the beach. Super friendly owners, great welcome pack.
Really clean and brilliantly decorated. Comfy beds, lovely bathroom/shower, kitchen has everything you will need in it. Would definitely go there again.
