1 OF 2 COTTAGES PERFECTLY LOCATED TO EXPLORE THE WHOLE OF THE REGION. IDEALLY LOCATED FOR VISITING THE FAMOUS BRIDGWATER CARNIVAL IN NOVEMBER Set in a peaceful countryside setting yet only 2.5 miles from the town of Bridgwater these newly converted grade II listed semi detached cottages are set in one of the most beautiful parts of Somerset close to the Quantock Hills which offer wonderful walking from leisurely strolls to more challenging walks including the Coleridge Way.

Other attractions within easy reach include Clarks Shopping Village Cheddar Gorge Wookey Hole West Somerset Steam Railway Roman Bath numerous National Trust properties and Cricket St Thomas being just a few. Exmoor is just a short drive away or you can simply relax in your private patio area and enjoy a glass of wine and a BBQ while the children play in the adjoining paddock. Both cottages are newly renovated to an excellent standard and form the wing of a 17th century/medieval Somerset longhouse with a working farm next door.

The 2 cottages can be booked separately or together if a larger party of friends or family wish to holiday together. A garage is available and off-road parking for 1 car. Bed linen electric and oil-fired central heating included.

Regret no pets and no smoking in the properties. Perfectly located for visiting the Bridgwater Carnival in November (for the carnival weekend short breaks are welcome 3 or 4 nights at 80% of weekly cost). Beaches 15 minutes drive away.

Local shops and pubs in North Petherton 2 miles and supermarkets in Bridgwater 2.5 miles. Country pubs in nearby villages and on the Quantock Hills.

This upside-down cottage has slate floors on the ground floor with under-floor heating and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size and 1 twin. Family bathroom with bath and electric shower over and WC. An under stairs storage area houses the washer/dryer and freezer.

Upstairs you are able to take advantage of the countryside views. Large open-plan beamed lounge/kitchen/diner the fully fitted kitchen has integral electric oven hob dishwasher fridge microwave and many useful extras. Flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD.

Outside you will find a paved patio area along with an adjoining lawn and 1 acre paddock where children can play. Arrival 3pm.The other property on site is CHANH also seeLIHBR in South Devon which shares the same owners.
