The Loft is a welcoming end of terrace cottage, on a working livestock farm, situated just three miles from the historic town of Annan. The cottage is a former 19th Century stable block, which has been renovated to a good standard to provide a light and airy open plan living area with a well equipped fitted kitchen area and sitting area that has wonderful picture windows, which overlook the farm. This cottage sleeps four and has two bedrooms - one double and one single, plus there are many shared on-site facilities including a hot tub, games room, children's playground and gardens.

There are many attractions and places to visit nearby, such as Annan with its links to history, and walkers, cyclists and golfers are all well catered for with many walks, cycle tracks and golf courses in the area. The breathtaking Lake District and Hadrian's Wall are within driving distance. The Loft is an ideal cottage from which to explore this magnificent area.

Ms
Went away for a few nights break with a friend. We were welcomed by the owner who showed us round. Cottage was a cosy, homely place with ample space throughout. The hot tub was really good and handy that its indoors with a shower/WC. It's a working farm with livestock but wasn't put off by that. Would go back again.

We liked the farm setting, animals and the very welcoming owners. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were comfortable and the heating was great.

A well set up cottage with plenty of room for two. A good base for exploring Southern Scotland. Enjoyed our stay.

The host of the property was lovely. The accommodation was very clean and smart looking and very warm. The place was situated in a very quiet location and we could go and leave as we please. It was a very relaxing holiday with the added bonus of a hot tub room with TV. A very nice place to stay.

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped, we received a very warm and friendly welcome from the owner, and she was more than happy to make our holiday both memorable and enjoyable and we would be more than happy to stay in the cottage again! The location was ideal for us to attend a wedding at Gretna Green as Dumbretton Farm is only 10 minutes drive away. We visited many places during our stay including Edinburgh, Stirling and Roslyn Chapel, but the highlight of the week had to be visiting the Red Kite Feeding station in Laurieston which was a truly amazing experience and well worth the 1 hour drive.
