This property enjoys a fantastic location in the riverside village of Instow where holidaymakers can enjoy the sandy beach take the ferry across the estuary to the harbour village of Appledore or pay a visit to the village art gallery and ceramic studios. The town of Bideford is within a four-mile drive and offers not only a range of independent shops and pubs but also is the departure point for the wonderful boat trip out to the stunning wilds of Lundy Island in the Bristol Channel where visitors can spend the day spotting puffins and seals and exploring the remains of numerous historic buildings. On the ground floor of this elegantly style property guests will find the well-equipped kitchen and separate light-filled dining room.
The kitchen not only has everything that guests will need to prepare their favourite meals including an oven hob American-style fridge/freezer microwave dishwasher and washer/dryer but also has a seating area with comfortable chairs and TV. The dining room has a table seating eight a handsome feature fireplace and French windows which open onto the garden. There is also an attractive ground-floor bedroom with double bed and sofa as well as downstairs shower room with WC.
On the property s first floor there are three further bedrooms: a double a single and a twin. The master double is a relaxing spacious room with lovely river views whilst the other two rooms are both tastefully decorated in neutral colours creating a calm restful atmosphere. The property s main bathroom is on this floor and offers a bath with handheld shower separate shower cubicle and WC.
Finally on the third floor there is a stunning lounge with huge windows which open to create a balcony with fabulous river views. This room is decorated in a bold nautical style with deep sofas and tub chairs and offers a 42 HD TV/DVD iPod dock and a games console. Outside there is an enclosed garden with seating and a BBQ to the rear of the property which is accessed from the dining room.
At the end of the garden guests will find the games room which makes a fantastic den for teenagers or the young-at-heart offering table football dart board games console and a selection of toys and games. There is roadside parking close to the property or guests may prefer to use the local pay-and-display car park.
