5 Star price for a 2 Star accommodation
This is an older property, which is ok, but it was not as clean as we would have expected, having paid over ?1000 for a week. The gardens are nice but you cannot use the full one and a half acres due to the incline's and the overgrown nature. The trees block out the sea views too. The bath has a very high side, which made it difficult getting in and out of and the shower was very temperamental. Its location is very secluded, so you need a car to go anywhere.

Lovely cottage acessability by car extremely difficult
We had a week in this delightful well equipped cottage. We didnt expect modern everything was as expected but the cottage was far better equipped then most. Sheila was welcoming despite being in hospital the day before. Fabulous patio and BBQ. Unfortunately we really struggled to get our car up the steep narrow track, my car got stuck on a broken part of the path and kept rolling back. After 3 attempts we got to the top but decided to leave the car on the drive and used taxies all week. The day we left the same happened but after 3 or more attempts we got the car up the track. It needs resurfacing and then everything would be a perfect it really is a lovely location. Loved the piano and brought one on our return! Highly recommend the cottage and if you own a 4 wheel drive no problem.

We stayed here for two weeks, and really enjoyed it, the cottage was cosy and comfortable, it had everything we needed. The cottage was out of the way, which suited us, but close enough to all amenities. Overall I would definitely recommend and I will go back.

Short visit !!!!!
Upon arrival at the property after driving down a steep track we found the key and let ourselves in to a property that differed from the description given. The furniture looked very dated and worn. Upon reaching the bathroom we were taken a back by a worn out 1960's pink bath, sink and toilet all showed signs of extreme wear. We asked if the owner would be so kind as to come and meet with us to discuss our concerns. When the owner arrived she could not see why we had concerns about staying and immediately asked us to leave which we did. This is the sort of property that if you are into 1940's retro it may be an experience.

Be aware of steep gradient
The property is accessed by a very steep gradient. Unfortunately our car could not on its own power climb the steep gradient from which the the cottage was situated. We had to call out the RAC to get our car back up the steep hill. We had to park our car park at the top of hill for the remainder of the holiday. The website details mentions access of cottage downhill but this does not indicate the steepness of the hill. However,The cottage itself is very well contained and includes every thing you want.
