The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our dogs were also made welcome; a bowl of water waiting for them. The garden was very secure and well kept. We found it a perfect base to enjoy all the great places in the area. More to do, so will be returning to Bangor Cottage. Many thanks to the owners for such a lovely holiday.

The cottage was perfect and nicely laid out, with plenty of room for our group of 5. The cottage had everything we needed and nice views of the mountains out of the dining room window and garden. When I come back to Bangor, I will definitely be wanting to stay here again!

lovely cottage
My husband and I arrived in Bangor at the same time as my daughter and her family arrived at Bangor Station. We found the cottage easily, only passing the end of the lane where the cottage is situated and ending up about 2 mins away in the Golf club car park. A phone call to the owner who waited for us at the end of the lane soon put us right, every second of 2 min drive away. From the lane it looks as if it would be cramped - what a surprise to find it a spacious cottage, with a spacious porch with plenty of room for shoes and a bench to sit on. This leads into the living room, a spacious airy room, well appointed with ample room to sit is all. To the left is a spacious, comfortable ligjht air double bedroom. Next through the lounge to the left is a well appointed kitchen, compact but with plenty of room to cook. Opposite is a light, sunny dinning room with plenty of room for 6 people to eat in comfort. To the left of the dinning room through a door from the kitchen is a rear hall with coat pegs and off this is a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board and a spacious freezer. Also leading from the rear hall is the door leading down steps to the garden which is spacious and goes all round the cottage. Returning to the lounge we find a smaller lounge with childrens toys and 2 armchairs, room for children to play quitter indoor games. Also off the lounge is a corridor with a single bedroom, also spacious and airy, a shower room with shower, toilet and wash basin and the boiler. Next is a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed in. All in all a well appointed comfortable cottage, near to bangor centre and convenient for Anglesy and north wales resorts and attractions. The extras are most welcome and when we stayed included a pack of Welsh cakes, Welsh butter and a bottle of fresh milk, tea, coffee sugar and flour. There is also washing up liquid, laundry liquid and towels. There is plenty of cooking equipment and crockery. WELL DONE RON AND GWEN.
