RECENT CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Excellent accommodation, near to centre of town.
Excellent accommodation, near the town centre of lovely Moreton in Marsh. Great shopping centre. Market and good pubs serving good food. Spacious rooms and all amenities needed. Good bus service to Stow, Bourton and Cheltenham. Had a great stay.

Stylish, but..............
We have just spent a week at Summergangs. There is much to recommend this let ? a well-appointed modern house, nicely decorated with a small, but well-designed garden. However, there are a number of features which would make it less than perfect for some parties: ? There is no ground-floor cloakroom/WC. The utility room appears to have been converted from what would originally have been the cloakroom/WC. ? The garage is extremely short and narrow. A Skoda Fabia fitted in, but a Peugeot 407 did not. ? The instructions for parking a second car were very strict about only parking in the designated space (one of two spaces in front of the pair of semis). On this occasion the neighbouring house was unoccupied. If the neighbours had parked a car in their space, it would have been impossible for anyone in Summergangs to park their car and get out of it, unless they had an extremely small car. ? The only other advice about parking given in the booking details was that the next available possibility was to park in a street 150 yards away. There was no more parking space available within the confines of the development of nine houses. Furthermore, there were some shortcomings in relation to cleaning, in particular black mould in several places on the tiles of the en-suite shower. In the rest of the house there was also a lack of thoroughness in cleaning in a number of areas and it was necessary to call the local agent to get a cleaner to resolve the problems. On returning home we received an email from the owner saying that she was sorry we had had to contact the local agent. We then sent the owner pictures of the black mould in the shower with comments about the general lack of thorough cleaning elsewhere. She replied that she had spoken to the agent about the issues and thanked us for our feedback.

The amenities were more than we expected which did mean the owner went that extra mile. Would definitely recommend this property to other friends and family. Thanks!

Summergangs was an excellent base for a short family get together. The house was beautifully maintained, clean and welcoming. It was within easy walking distance of the centre of Morton-in-Marsh where we enjoyed walks and good pub evening meals. Would highly recommend.
