Make sure you have decent insurance
We didn't actually make it because we hit a deer in Glencoe a couple of weeks before we were due to arrive and wrote our car off so I can't comment on the actual cottage. This was our second attempt (we had to cancel the first because Covid restrictions were still in place in Scotland in April last year) and we'd really been looking forward to it. We were sadly inside the minimum cancellation period but did try to defer however I got the impression the owner didn't believe us and they didn't want to help so we had to cancel. I've included a photo so that they know I was telling the truth if they see this. This isn't a negative review of the cottage, just a warning to ensure you have adequate insurance (ours apparently didn't include car breakdowns or accidents and our car insurers wouldn't give us a relief vehicle to allow us to continue our holiday) - we ended up £550 out of pocket.

A fantastic bungalow in a great location, everything you would need is in the property, can't fault it. Had some fantastic days out.

The property is well cared for and very clean. We have stayed here before and would highly recommend it. It is in such a quiet location yet is great for touring the area.
