Self Catering in Isle of Wight - Ventnor

Excellent little cottage
We stayed here for 2 weeks in August 2019 (my husband, myself and a staffie). Excellent base for exploring. Very quiet and peaceful location with views over the sea. Although compact, there was everything you needed (small TV, cooker, oven, microwave, toaster) plus some extra touches such as toilet paper, washing up liquid and tea towels which were lovely. The bedding and towels were changed weekly which, again, was brilliant. The bathroom was only small with a shower cubicle but we managed. The family who run this cottage were around if needed and were always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cottage if visiting the Isle of Wight.

The cottage is situated in the most picturesque environment, looking across a field to the sea. The coastal path is right on the doorstep, perfect for walking and exploring. The peace, tranquillity and beauty of the area is priceless. The cottage was absolutely fine for us, the outdoor area with barbecue is a bonus. Sitting with a glass of something ice cold watching passing boats and ships adds to this relaxing little retreat. We would highly recommended.

Fisherman's Cottage and the surroundings were perfect for us. We were right next to the coastal footpath and the two small beaches were ideal. The Cottage was not too big, just nice and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay very much. We love the Isle of Wight and what it has to offer and it was made even better with the accommodation we had.
