Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove and sofa bed.

Great place to escape from the city, for nature lovers and family
We stayed at Ash Lodge (Lechlade) for 4 nights in late August 2019. We were delighted with the very quiet and relaxing environment; the two lodges are located in the forest, approximately 100 m from the rest of the compound. The property is furnished with everything you would need, fully-equipped kitchen, barbecue, towels, bedsheets. Note that there are no doors in between the living room/kitchen/bedroom and bathroom. If you are in need of privacy and intimacy -esp. with 4 peoples in the lodges- you may want to reconsider! For the connected-geeks there is a radio, but no TV and WiFi is only available at the reception/cottage area (a little walk, to burn some calories). The place itself is amazing for families as kids are free to roam around. There are several playgrounds and it is also very easy to go pet the animals (donkeys, sheep, horses, cows, poultry?). The swimming pool seems a bit tiny and is accessible for £5 per hour (we did not try it). Overall, an excellent place to stay when you want to escape the busy days and enjoy the nature.

The location of the lodge was excellent and very quiet set in the woods.
