Outstanding accommodation
Beach Cove is an outstanding property. Its is exceptionally well located right on the beach and listening to the waves at night from the front bedroom was wonderful. The house is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Furthermore it is spotlessly clean and very comfortable including the beds. It was also great to have the use of a hot tub. Although it looks amazing in the photos, it is even better in reality and the front now has many more potted plants. It was fantastic to be able to just walk down a slope to let the dog off on the beach which he absolutely loved. Just a short stroll and you are in the little town which has everything you need. We had excellent fish and chips from Ladhars Fish bar and a lovely pizza from Due Fratelli. The even better thing is you can take your take away into the Old Ship on the front to have eat with your drinks!! We went to the Old Ship most nights and were made to feel incredibly welcome. A super break. Thank you to Nicola and Chris!

Wow! Couldn?t fault a thing
We arrived from Scotland on Friday 30th August. It was very easy to find and park within just a few feet of the front gate. We went straight to the fabulous beach as we were early for checking in. The walk to the beach takes less than 2 minutes and then there is a beautiful expanse of beautiful sand and sea to enjoy. There's even a no dog area which is nice too. We love dogs but with having a toddler it's great he's not bothering people on their dog walk every 5 minutes. We came up to the house just after 4 as the wonderful team of friendly cleaners were leaving. From the moment we stepped in the door we fell in love. The place was beautifully clean and tidy and so so well appointed. Every time I thought I needed something there it was! We had some biscuits we had opened and I thought they would go soft, I opened a cupboard and there were a great selection of Tupperware available. Perfect! Lovely crockery and great selection of glassware too. The rooms are so bright, the decor is beautiful and fresh. Beds are comfy and shower is lovely. The view from the front room And the single and double bedroom is immense. I love laying in bed watching and listening to the sea. Plenty of towels available for the family. We used the dishwasher and washing machine which both do a great job. The hot tub is beautiful. Very simple to use and very very welcoming after a day dealing with a 3 year old! We are still enjoying our stay but love it so much I felt I had to write a review. Local area of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea is a little hit and miss. We went to the Italian which we were very disappointed with and the ?plaice around the corner? fish and chip shop wasn?t up to scratch in our opinion either. But we could travel to eat out and get nice fish and chips elsewhere so we weren?t too bothered. We did use the local shop which was a handy 2 minutes walk away. He stocks everything. All in all. The best self catering accommodation I?ve stayed in. Well thought out, lovely and clean. Very impressed. I?ll definitely be back. Thank you to the owners who clearly know their stuff. Now off to enjoy our last 3 days here

Home from home
Just spent a week at this wonderful as you walk through the door you feel at home. The welcome was just fab and the bottle of wine 8n the fridge a god send. Fan views from the front double room, not the bigger of the rooms but fab view. It is literally over the road from the spotless beach, great walk along the promenade couple of pubs on route. Great base for exploring Northumberland and to finish the day with a dip in the hot tub. Will definitely boom again
