Bright and Sunny House
An excellent location, close enough to walk to the high street shopping and in the other direction some lovely walks along the quay walls etc. Because the house stands on a corner, it benefits from the morning sun and also in the afternoon the sun shines through the bay windows. The heating system is very efficient and builds up to temperature quite quickly. It can be regulated via the manual electronic control unit in the hallway. A comfortable house with a lovely modern kitchen. We would definitely choose this property again.
Excellent places to visit close by are: Low Newton-by-the-Sea and in the next village, at Newton-by-the-Sea, there is an excellent Gastro Pub, The Joiner's Arms where you can buy delicious food at a reasonable price. A day trip to Edinburgh on the train departing from the station in the High Street at Berwick upon Tweed also makes an interesting day out.
