Peak District Self Catering cottage, Overlea Cowshed, New Mills, sleeps 2

Absolutely Amazing Cottage!!
We stayed at Overlea cowshed for 5 nights for a birthday celebration and we werent disappointed.The cottage itself is absolutely amazing..Set in a lovely..quiet rural location in the Peak District.Finished to a very high spech..spacious..cosy with everything you could wish for.The added bonus of a welcome pack..sonas music system..tablet..TV with netflix..amazon prime etc..great log burner and not to mention the fab hot tub set in lovely gardens with amazing views of the hills and surrounding countryside made it one of the best accomodations weve ever stayed in... The bedroom..shower.decor .etc were also all to a high standard..The kitchen was fully kitted out and the owner Alan was very friendly and always helpful. You can gain access to the Sett Valley Trail from the cottage which takes you a short walk to the lovely towns of Hayfield and New Mills..also the millenium walkway..Lantern Pike and Kinder Scout...Also a short drive away is Glossop..Castleton..Buxton and and many other Peak District attractions.. all in all we had a fab stay at this gorgeous cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone!!

Celebration weekend with husband
Booked this for the weekend before my husband turned 40 for a nice relaxing weekend together. We had been sent the arrival details 2 weeks prior to our stay then were emailed the day before saying we could get into the property at mid day. On arrival we opened the door and was gobsmacked at how highly decorated the venue was. After unpacking our bags we settled down stairs and utilised all facilities from the modern kitchen to the tv including Netflix and amazon prime and surround sound system which was linked to the tv and Spotify on the tablet provided. As well as the hot tub which was utilised both night for numerous hours. On the Saturday we also utilised the log burner which maid for a more romantic and cosy feeling. Thank you for providing such a high spec cottage and we look forward to returning

Perfect relaxing weekend
We really enjoyed our stay, the hosts were brilliant, left us to our own devices but were available if needed. Our little basket on arrival was perfect and set the tone for the weekend. Beautiful cottage and had everything we needed, we would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Little Gem
So impressed with this place. Loved every minute. Perfect place for young and old couples to relax. Everywhere so well kept and plenty to see and do. Would highly recommend to anyone needing to getaway and unwind
