The character, contemporary cottage is located near the town of Cockermouth in the Lake District and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Buttermere is a ground floor, eco-friendly cottage sleeping four people, with two double bedrooms ? one amply sized with space for a wheelchair. It includes an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area with electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer, as well as a wood-burning stove. Buttermere also boasts a beautiful outdoor terrace area equipped with furniture and private parking for one car.

Sitting within ten acres of land, the cottage is surrounded by woodland, meadows and a pond with an abundance of wildlife on the doorstep. Buttermere Cottage is three miles from the towns of Cockermouth and Lorton, both filled with shops and restaurants, and just a six-mile drive from the quieter western lakes, including Ennerdale, winner of Britain's Best View. This property is ideal for a romantic couple's retreat or a small party of friends.
