Prospect House is a wonderful period property around 200-years old and offering beautiful accommodation in Ambleside, Cumbria. Hosting four bedrooms, including two super-king-size bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms and able to be twin rooms on request, a master super-king-size bedroom with seating area around the large window, and a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, along with a bathroom, and a lower-ground-floor cloakroom, this property can sleep up to eight guests. There is also a kitchen/diner with Sky TV, a lower-ground-floor utility room, a sitting room with a woodburning stove, and a lower-ground-floor cinema room with a 95" TV.
To the outside there is a front patio terrace with seating and off-road parking for two cars. Prospect House promises to be a wonderful abode for a group who relish outdoor adventures in the Lakes.

WOW!
As we inspected Prospect House all you could hear was WOW!s And OMG!s. It is without doubt the best self catering place we have stayed and that included luxury apartments in Italy and Washington DC the last couple of trips.We were 1 of 3 couples who wanted a spring break and decided to go to the Lake District, and managed our visit immediately before the lockdown. Prospect House had the facilities (all bedrooms en-suite and of a good size), location (central Ambleside but quiet back street), and the pictures looked fabulous and we booked despite no reviews which is very unusual for us. The reason for lack of reviews was obvious as soon as we arrived -we were the first visitors since a very impressive renovation of the building and completely new furniture, furnishings, and equipment of the highest standard and taste. Nothing has been overlooked, or skimped on.
Totally loved it - we will be back!
