RECENT CUSTOMER REVIEWS

All shabby, no chic
This cottage is tired to the point of being dangerous! The wooden floor in the hallway was on the point of collapse and the whole floor right through the lounge, hall and dining room creaked so much that by the end of a 4 day stay, we didn?t want to get up to make a tea as it was so noisy and because the cottage has a downstairs bathroom, if you needed to get up in the night, you woke the whole house up with the creaking. The bathroom and kitchen were dirty and badly maintained, you cannot stand up to shower if you are over 5£10? and the kitchen light was black with grease and started to smell once the bulb had warmed up the fat stuck to it, there was no mastic around the bath so water is obviously going down behind the bath which made the bathroom smell damp and it was running with silverfish. When everyone has devices to charge, there were no accessible plug points in any room that didn?t involve moving furniture, to dry your hair in the front bedroom, you have to crawl under the bed to retrieve an extension lead that powers the bedside lamps, under the bed was a real dust fest too, all of the pillows are as flat as pancakes and really need to be changed, the tableware and glasses are all mismatched, on the first day we had to go out and buy hi ball glasses to have a gin! The choice was wine glasses or pint glasses that looked like they were stolen from the nearest pub. We were all disappointed by our stay.
