SPOTLESSLY CLEAN
We have just returned from this lovely lodge for a weeks holiday. When we arrived it was absolutely spotless. To welcome us there was a bottle of wine, milk, tea bags, coffee, milk & half a pound of butter, plus the owners Mum made a really tasty apple sponge cake. So when you arrive you can make a hot drink straight away. The beds are really comfortable & the en-suite facilities quite large. The lodge is set in a orchard which is nice & you are awoken in the morning by birdsong, plus you will see rabbits & squirrels bounding about. The situation is just right to visit place of interest & Brighton is only 14 miles away. Park in Hove & walk in though, as the parking charges in Brighton are astronomical. Denise & Gary the owners of this property are a lovely couple & nothing was to much trouble for them. This is a two bedroom, two bathroom property for four people, but in the pictures on Sykes website it shows just one two seater settee & two dining chairs, when in fact there is a two seater settee & two club chairs, & there are also four dining chairs. The pictures don't do the property justice so I think Sykes should take better pictures as the ones on there now may put some people off.....it shouldn't, as be wouldn't hesitate to return again.
