Wander past the beautiful grounds and step into The Daffodil Shed, which comprises a wonderful open-plan living area with A-framed beams, and light, airy décor, which creates a vibrant atmosphere to relax in. Among the layout, you will discover a contemporary kitchen/diner graced in a white and grey overtone, perfect for spending time with your loved one’s morning through to evening.

With comfy seating you can settle down in style throughout the day, then cosy up in the king size bed which lies adjacent, for a lovely night's sleep. The fresh contemporary feel continues round to the shower room, which finishes the property to a standard of quality. Once you have spent some time relaxing indoors, why not wander outside to the lawned garden, your chance to take in the location at its finest.

For adventurous types there is a public slipway onto the tidal River Tamar (with free parking) less than 1 miles away. This is suitable for the launching of canoes, SUP’s etc..

Situated in the beautiful Tamar Valley AONB and West Devon mining UNESCO world heritage site, there are plenty of countryside walks, along quiet lanes and numerous footpaths.

Many walks can be taken from the Daffodil Shed doorstep. Just upstream from Bere Alston on the river Tamar is Morwellham Quay, a tiny harbour where half the world’s copper travelled through in the 1860s, and which is now a popular visitor attraction telling the story of copper mining through history. Here there is also the renowned Ship Inn.

Close to the Daffodil Shed there are two popular National Trust properties, Cotehele and Buckland Abbey. Trains run between Bere Alston and Plymouth, on the picturesque Tamar Valley line, following the river for much of the route. A modern and quiet place to stay with your loved one.
