Bryn Tawel is a delightful cottage situated in Eglwyswrw, Sir Benfro (Pembrokeshire), boasting countryside views, a woodburning stove, and a fire pit. Cardigan less than 6 miles; Fishguard less than 14 miles; Aberaeron less than 28 miles.

Bryn Tawel is a delightful cottage situated in Eglwyswrw, Sir Benfro, enjoying stunning views of Carn Ingli and the Preseli Hills. Boasting countryside views, a woodburning stove, a fire pit, and ground-floor living, this property has private driveway parking for six cars, making it well-suited to a family and three dutiful dogs. Step into the sitting room and out of your adventure-stained boots to toast your toes by the woodburning stove.

Whip up a delicious dinner in the open-plan living space with assistance from an electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge, and freezer before tucking in at a rustic dining table for ten. The dishwasher is on clean-up duty, so you’re free to enjoy your drinks in the garden warmed by the fire pit. Toss your laundry in the utility’s washer/dryer while you rinse off the day in an en-suite, bathroom, or ground-floor wet room, then settle in for the night in a king-size, ground-floor double, double, or twin bed, and drift off to framed country views of tomorrow’s adventures.

There is a shop within the village, Brian Llewelyn County Stores, and a petrol station, both located very close to the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm. You are just a short distance away from Pengelli Forest and a few miles from Castell Henllys Iron Age Village. The nearest dog-friendly beaches include Newport and Poppit Sands, both of which offer amazing views, as well as Ceibwr, famous for the Witches' Cauldron and kayaking opportunities.

Take the bus to the Salutation Inn and follow the footpath to Nevern, where you can visit the 6th-century church, renowned for its 700-year-old bleeding yew tree. Refresh yourself at the Trewern Arms before continuing your walk past the Pilgrims' Cross, along the beautiful river, until you reach Newport Beach. Once there, dine in one of the lovely restaurants before taking a bus back home.

You can also visit the Pentre Ifan burial mound and Ty Canol Woods or climb to the top of Carn Ingli to enjoy breathtaking views of Newport and Cardigan Bay. Soak up your local surroundings and take the history buff to National Trust's Cilgerran Castle, pet the horses at Dyfed Shire Horse Farm, and top off the day with a delicious meal at the Penybryn Arms pub. Don’t forget to stop by the Glasshouse Café at the Welsh Wildlife Centre for a wonderful bite to eat.

Venture a little further afield to the coastal town of Fishguard and explore the Historic Remains of the Old Town of Caerau, Fishguard Fort, then indulge in a beach day at Lampit Beach. Don’t miss nature’s finest colours in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park – just less than 6 miles from your property! Take that short drive to Aberaeron for stunning views from Clogfryn and Aberaeron Harbour, then stroll the scenic path with your four-legged friends along the Allt y Graig Woodland Trail. Adventures are everywhere in Sir Benfro – enjoy them from Bryn Tawel.
