This semi detached cottage for 4 people is just 5 minutes walk from the beach at Beadnell Bay close to Seahouses and Bamburgh and is ideal for a family seaside holiday or for sightseeing the historic Northumberland coast.

This charming semi-detached bungalow is within walking distance of the lovely fishing village of Beadnell. Recently modernised, the house has been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. The sunny south-facing kitchen is a large split-level room with a handy dining area whilst the living room is cosy and perfect for nights in after a long day exploring the local beaches.

With sea and sand, as well as the shops and pubs of the village, only a five-minute walk away, it's easy to enjoy much of this lovely location on foot. With Alnwick, Bamburgh and the A1 all within easy reach though, exploring a larger area by car is easy, making this quaint cottage a great place for a holiday with friends, family, or even a romantic encounter.

Good location
Beadnell is a lovely, convenient place to stay. Not quite as busy as Seahouses but within easy reach. The village of Beadnell has a good eating pub and cafe/bistro, which are both within walking distance of Lyndhurst Cottage. The cottage itself was well equipped and conveniently located. It is a little 'tired' in places, especially the kitchen. There is no wifi yet the signs on entering the village boast of super fast broadband. We did use the free wifi at the pub but this was not always convenient. However, none of this spoilt our stay.

Fantastic, homely and well equipped cottage with a beautiful sun room and garden. It was in a great location, close to beaches and castles.

We liked the comfort and warmth of the property and the proximity to so many places.

Just one problem with this break - we should have booked for longer. Beadnell is a lovely quiet village on the beach and a short walk from the harbour. Great base for exploring Northumbria. Cottage is in a great location with lovely garden. Welcome tray of biscuits, tea, sugar etc on arrival with fresh milk in fridge. Fresh cut flowers in vase was a nice touch. Cottage is spacious and more than enough room for us (2 adults and 2 older teenagers). Suitable for 4 adults or families with older children. The owners had thought of and provided everything you could possibly need. Beds and sofas extremely comfortable. Had plenty of sunshine to enjoy the sun room and garden. Plenty of crockery and kitchen equipment. Dresser full of board games. Excellent standard of decoration and spotlessly clean, attention to detail. Bedding and mattresses etc spotless. Storage heaters plus electric heaters in every room. The cottage is on two levels with three steps but fine for the able bodied. Utility room with washer etc. Two spacious en-suites to each bedroom. Could not have asked for more and would highly recommend. Best cottage we have had the pleasure to stay in. Very sad to leave, could quite happily move in tomorrow.

AMAZING! This is the best cottage we have stayed in. An excellent location and a lovely cottage and garden. It was very well equipped, clean and comfortable with fantastic beds, a fabulous sun room and attention to detail. We could not have asked for more. We wished we had booked for longer. It has a beautiful garden with a beach at the end of the street and the harbour a short walk away. It is a great base for exploring Northumberland. We would highly recommend and were very sad to leave.
