The Hayloft is a first floor barn conversion of great charm and character located in the tranquil little rural hamlet of West End.

The property has been carefully renovated and boasts original beams and a warming wood burner that sits on the original doorstep of the former farmhouse. There are stunning views from skylights that perfectly frame the surrounding natural landscape. The lovely garden leads to 2 acres of land populated by wandering ducks and chickens, and features its own delightful babbling brook.

The accommodation includes one double en-suite bedroom; fitted kitchen, and sitting room with a warm and welcoming wood burner. The Hayloft offers comfortable and well-equipped accommodation that provides an excellent base from which to explore this wonderful part of Norfolk.

Great Central Location For Touring
The property is in the centre of Norfolk roughly equally distance from the east, west and north coasts. It is reached by a couple of miles of single track road. At the start of this road there is a Co-op so you can pick up provisions. The Hayloft is the top half of the building you see in the photographs so anyone with mobility issues would struggle particularly as the doorway between the lounge and bedroom is extremely low and anyone above average build would have problems using the shower room / wc. Other than that it is a comfortable accommodation with everything you need in the kitchen and a wood burner in the lounge. The only issue I found was that the Information Book was not on view and when we eventually found it there was information that was out of date.

The owners were very friendly, and the accommodation is comfortable, clean and well stocked. The gardens are gorgeous and tranquil. We would definitely book again, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
