This charming stone-built barn conversion is an 18th Century property set idyllically on a National Trust working hill farm. Great location, brilliant hosts, perfect stay!!!
I stayed at the cottage with my wife, a friend and her 4 year old daughter. The kid loved the place because there are 'sheepys', 'lambies' and 'gooses' :-) The hosts are really lovely and helpful. They had given us some fresh eggs from the farm - a great touch. The location is superb - literally 10 min drive from Betws-y-coed. It is in the middle of a working farm and it's really quiet and beautiful. No doubt we'll go there again!
Y Bwythyn is a wonderful spacious relaxing cottage, very comfortable, wonderful views. The owners are lovely people. Perfect for getting away from it all and close enough to some fantastic scenery and walks in Snowdonia. Would definitely recommend.
The barn conversion was of a high standard and the cottage felt like a special place to be.
It was a beautiful place. The cottage was a barn conversion that had been carefully and well restored, upgraded and turned into a lovely, comfortable cottage with fabulous views. The owners were friendly and helpful but not obtrusive.
The cottage was spacious and well furnished. The owners were brilliant and really looked after us. We may well be back.
