Renovated to a high standard and retaining many of its original features, this charming, semi-detached property provides a well-equipped kitchen and a wonderful master bedroom as well as a pretty garden with views over the surrounding farmland to the mountains beyond.
This charming stone-built barn conversion is an 18th Century property set idyllically on a National Trust working hill farm. Positioned on the edge of the small village of Ysbyty Ifan, this lovely cottage lies just six miles from the popular town of Betws-y-Coed. There is lots to see and do in the local area, such as walking, cycling, bird watching and visits to Portmeirion and the Brenig and Bala lakes.
There is also a wonderful zoo within easy driving distance, as well as the walled city of Chester.

Great location, brilliant hosts, perfect stay!!!
I stayed at the cottage with my wife, a friend and her 4 year old daughter. The kid loved the place because there are 'sheepys', 'lambies' and 'gooses' :-) The hosts are really lovely and helpful. They had given us some fresh eggs from the farm - a great touch. The location is superb - literally 10 min drive from Betws-y-coed. It is in the middle of a working farm and it's really quiet and beautiful. No doubt we'll go there again!

Y Bwythyn is a wonderful spacious relaxing cottage, very comfortable, wonderful views. The owners are lovely people. Perfect for getting away from it all and close enough to some fantastic scenery and walks in Snowdonia. Would definitely recommend.

It was a beautiful place. The cottage was a barn conversion that had been carefully and well restored, upgraded and turned into a lovely, comfortable cottage with fabulous views. The owners were friendly and helpful but not obtrusive.
