Rural Huntingford is a small hamlet that makes an ideal location from which to explore the beautiful country views and many National Trust properties and gardens close by, including Stourhead.

The Old Chapel was fully re-built in 2008 to replicate the original wooden structure dating back to 1867, and has been featured in the press locally and nationally, on TV's 'Homes Under The Hammer' and in 'Dorset Life' magazine because of its interesting and unusual appearance and interior. This detached former chapel is situated in the peaceful rural hamlet of Huntingford and features a stunning timber-clad interior, with a high beamed, vaulted ceiling and splendid galleried landing overlooking the living area. The whole property has a light, airy and spacious ambience.

The accommodation includes one attractive eaves bedroom, a fitted kitchen and bathroom at the rear, and a living area which includes sitting and dining areas and a warming wood burner. The Old Chapel provides fabulous holiday living in a glorious part of the country.

Fabulous stay
Loved every minute. Relaxing peaceful stay. Good Base for sight seeing. Visited Stonehenge and London. House very warm and spacious. Private parking. A lovely home. ....x

The Chapel emerges impressively from the surrounding countryside as you travel in from the main road, and once there the property is well thought out, well equipped and very peaceful, with a good space outside for the kids to run about in. The owners were friendly, helpful and we would love to come again for a longer break some time in the future!

It was lovely to stay in a "different" type of accommodation. On arrival we had a warm welcome from the owners who live opposite the Chapel. The main room was bigger than we expected and always warm. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was also much bigger than expected and the towels provided were of good quality. It's in a lovely area with lots to see and do.
Mrs Bailey

The Old Chapel was of a very high standard with very welcoming owners. It was situated in the beautiful countryside with easy access to all the nearby tourist attractions.
Mrs Danaher

The location was excellent; very quiet and peaceful but also within easy reach of a supermarket and an excellent pub for food. It was also a good base for visiting lots of places in Dorset. The owners of the property made us very welcome and the property was a credit to them, with all the facilities you could want. The Old Chapel made our holiday one to always fondly remember.
