This property enjoys an idyllic location on the owners land in North Dorset close to the border with Somerset. The surrounding countryside is perfect for country walks and cycle rides especially with the Cranbourne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the edge of which is just six miles to the east of the property. A few miles away the town of Shaftesbury will be instantly recognisable to many particularly the town s steep cobbled street Gold Hill also known as Hovis Hill due to its role in the nostalgic TV adverts.

The town of Bruton also makes a great place for a day trip and has become somewhat of a magnet for young fashionable day-trippers thanks to its world-class art gallery upmarket eateries and chic bars. Other places of interest in the area include Longleat Safari Park Glastonbury Abbey and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. This barn conversion property is one of three at this location and offers spacious accommodation for six guests.

The large lounge is the main social space in the property and has two comfortable sofas a wood burner-effect electric fire a TV/DVD and French windows which open out onto the property s enclosed garden. The kitchen/diner is just as generously-sized as the lounge and again has patio doors which allow guests to open this space onto the garden. There is a dining table in this room alongside the cooking equipment and appliances which include an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer.

One of the property s three bedroom is also located on the ground floor a pleasant king-size room which is located conveniently next to the bathroom which offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms one of these is another king-size room this time benefitting from an en-suite shower room with shower and WC. The third bedroom is a twin room.

Outside there is an enclosed garden to the rear of the property which is mainly set to lawn with a patioed seating area offering a table and chairs making it great for alfresco dining. An unusual addition to the garden is the vintage horse-drawn carriage one of a number that the owner has collected over the years. There is ample parking.
