Perfect family holiday
The cottage is located on the main road quite close to the village of Trawsfynydd so it's easy enough to find and get to. We'd read a few comments regarding the noise of passing traffic but have to say we didn't notice it and we live in an extremely rural area so I don't think it would be an issue for most people. The cottage is set at an angle to the road with the small chapel in front and a lovely private garden to the side. The cottage itself was spotless and had everything I needed, which was brilliant as I prefer to cook when I'm away, upstairs the shower room is separate to the bathroom/toilet, with 2 teenagers this was a godsend! We were really lucky with the weather, there are lovely walks/ mountain bike trails close by, we visited the beach and castle at Harlech, Swallow Falls at Capel Curig, Conwy Castle, the Great Orme and Landudno. The highlight of our week was climbing Snowdon, it was amazing. If you're planning on visiting North Wales you really couldn't find a nicer more homely place to stay, the owners live close by and they were really lovely and so helpful. We knew we were onto a winner when we arrived to a waiting tea tray complete with Welsh cakes, it was the perfect start to a perfect week, thank you!

A little gem! Ideal base for a stay in Snowdonia National Park.
We spent a few days in this lovely cottage which we booked on the spur of the moment to celebrate our anniversary. The cottage itself was delightful and had everything you could possibly need. We had a warm welcome from Ieuan and Gwyneth who had provided flowers, coffee and delicious Welsh cakes. We wish we had stayed longer.

The owners were very friendly and on hand if we needed anything. It was private and in a great location, and the friendly ponies were a plus! Would definitely go again.
