Never want to leave
This is our second visit to Cartref within 6 months. It is just incredible. Beautifully furnished, every amenity you could wish for, thoughtful and personalised welcome pack, incredible views, sweet furry neighbours that double for hours of entertainment (lambs!!) and amazing hosts. And when I say amazing, I mean it - Mari has laid on toys and snacks specifically suitable for my children, Gwion let my 2 y/o feed the pet lambs, and Rhys went as far as to find and drop over a pair of crutches when I took a tumble off my bike at Coed y Brenin and sprained my ankle. If you can bring yourself to leave the comfort of the house and it's entrancing views, there's plenty to do locally. Coed y Brenin forest park is minutes away. And beautiful beaches are easily accessible. There's secure bike storage and a washing machine/tumble - massive advantages for us as keen riders and parents of little ones! We'll be back again as soon as possible.

Food for the soul
Fabulous accommodation, suitably isolated, as we needed in this current time. However, easy enough to travel into the National park, to the coast, etc. Lovely to sit outside , or inside, look at the mountains, with a G and T, and watch that naught male sheep, bullying the smaller ones!! Thank you Mari and Reece for your care and attention to detail. Caroline and Chris.
