Self Catering in Devon - Ilfracombe

This delightful holiday home is one of five properties located on the site. Accessed by a private drive the cottage is situated on a working farm and is only five miles away from Ilfracombe. Guests can meet the farm animals and children can enjoy the toddler friendly play area where they can pond dip and handle animals.

The sandy beaches at Saunton Sands and Woolacombe are only a short drive away and are ideal for both surfers and sunbathers alike. Hikers can enjoy a day out exploring the landscapes and wildlife of Exmoor. The cottage was part of the original medieval farmhouse and therefore retains exposed beams and other period details.

The lounge has a TV DVD player Freeview video and a wood burner (first basket of logs included). The country style kitchen/diner is equipped with an electric oven hob microwave fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The dining area has a table seating up to six people.

The bedrooms are accessed by a flight of cottage style stairs with one double bedroom and one bedroom with three single beds. The shower room features a double shower cubicle and WC. Outside there is a small private garden with seating.

Disposable BBQ s can be bought on site. There is an shared on-site library for guests that is filled with books videos and toys. Craft sessions for children aged 13 and upwards are available including stained glass bottle craft and glass painting.

All new guests are allowed one free taster craft session outside of school holidays. Craft sessions for young children can be adjusted to parents requirements. Guests also have shared use of an indoor play barn featuring a pool table table tennis and other games.

All properties have access to a shared riverside picnic area and can take walks on the farm.
